Twenty-three drawings of California's colorful past await the student in this time line. From Balboa and Cabrillo, during the age of discovery and exploration, to the settlers and 49'ers and the transcontinental railroad this tool will highlight California's remarkable history. Included in this kit is an Explorers Poem which is suitable for memorization.

With their dated illustrations of significant events and individuals, students cut and color the detailed drawings and paste them on two 6" x 34" card-stock strips which are scored and able to fold for convenient storage in the student notebook. Many students will mount their completed time lines on the wall. They stretch to nearly six feet in length!
